Benchmark Reporting Agency is one of the most technologically-savvy court reporting firms in the legal industry. Principal Aimee Goldberg purchased Southwest Reporters Incorporated (founded in 1967) following a successful career in the court reporting industry as a trial technology specialist. She renamed the firm Benchmark Reporting Agency in 1997. An expert in legal industry technology, Aimee is a frequent speaker at national and international legal conferences. She served a three-year term as a Board of Directors member of the National Network of Reporting Company (NNRC), a network of highly sophisticated, independent reporting agencies located across the nation. Benchmark is a member of NNRC.
Under Aimee’s leadership, Benchmark has expanded its technology-based services to include litigation support, video, video conferencing, and video streaming, while maintaining an excellent network of court reporters in Minnesota and throughout the nation. Aimee’s extensive background in trial technology included working on large petroleum trials in the mid-1990s, for which she wired courtrooms and taught judges, courtroom staff, attorneys, paralegals, and court reporters to use realtime software. As a former trainer for LiveNote and other commonly used legal software, Aimee is a respected resource for court reporters, attorneys and paralegals who want to maximize the benefit gained from current software and other technology-based tools.
Principal Eric Goldberg spearheads business development for Benchmark Reporting Agency. He also coordinates Benchmark's video conferencing and video streaming services worldwide — nearly 5,000 deposition suite options worldwide.
Eric joined Benchmark in 2000. Prior to then, he founded and ran a successful legal video and video conferencing business. Earlier, he served as a sales representative for a large court reporting firm. Eric is a nationally recognized expert in video production and video conferencing, assisting legal industry clients in applying these technologies to gain time-saving and cost-saving benefits. He is also a versatile video consultant, working with attorneys, their clients, co-counsel, and paralegals to schedule effective video depositions, video conferencing and video streaming services that meet the highest standards of the legal industry.
